Mike Williams (Owner) Wildlife Biologist

With a master's degree in Natural Resources from Auburn University and a strong background in applying ecological principles, I bring multiple years of experience as a professional wildlife biologist within the USDA to wildlife management. Through this experience, combined with my experience as a former Army Infantry Officer, I have developed a results-oriented approach and the ability to effectively manage complex projects in challenging environments. I have done extensive work with federal agencies, municipalities, and private landowners; giving me a unique perspective on the diverse challenges and opportunities in this field. My expertise spans a diverse range of areas, including:

  • Wildlife Habitat Management Planning: Developing and implementing comprehensive plans for various ecosystems, including habitat assessments, and planning for the use of fire and herbicide.

  • Prescribed Fire Implementation: As a certified burn manager, my team and I handle the entire process—from permitting to safe execution. We use precisely managed fire to optimize timber stand health, improve wildlife habitat, control invasive species, and reduce hazardous fuel loads to protect your property.

  • Ecological Expertise: Designing management strategies focused on restoring ecological functionality to properties.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Navigating complex regulatory requirements and permitting processes.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: I bring together great teams to accomplish land management goals for cooperators, so they don’t have to.

I am dedicated to delivering effective, science-based solutions that meet the unique needs of each project and contribute to the long-term health of our natural resources and your property.
